i have lost

the connection,

fractured

the innocence,

and severed

the poisonous stories

and the formidable beams,

but

radiant voices

still

break

in the mornings,

the soft, slow, creeping mornings

break

and take

me back

to the disillusionment of dreams,

and how the ocean took me in

(my sweet Virginia sky)

then, missed you,

missed me,

somehow.

day 119

ain't feelin' too good

day 118

today started out REALLY AWESOME* but my health has been steadily declining all night

i'm almost certain i have meningitis**, so IF i wake up in the morning, i'll probably be mentally handicapped

so this might be the last day of my 365 day project, in which case it would become a 118 day project

*including watching skins, drinking a milkshake, and wheeling my pug up the street in my nephew's stroller

**could also just be a cold or influenza

i just came home from an unsuccessful attempt at having band practice to THIS on fb:::

a picture resurfaced from the depths of paula's harddrive that makes me look cooler than i actually am. i mean i AM going to see conan o'brien right here

and i really cannot wait to go back to california.

it's time for another edition of.....

NEW ART IN MY ROOM

if you can't tell by my very professional mac photobooth photo, it's a shadow box with a 3-d paper chow

umm tonight my boyfriend and i made boca burgers with ALMOND cheese

also lately i've been trying to eat my cereal with ALMOND milk

also every morning i put on some delicious smelling ALMOND hand lotion

i love almonds, i call them the nut of life*

just thought i should mention

they're so yummmy and versatile

*i just made that up just now

i was looking through old pictures (always both comforting and detrimental to my well-being) and found some of him when he was very small and as he was growing

lately i've been solidifying my role as ultimate prankster

with craigslist postings for 3 of my friends*

and now this HILARIOUS workplace prank (more details later, maybe, once its been revealed to my coworkers who religiously check this blog every night, surely)
